Paid Holidays

We recognize seven paid holidays per year, which include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, The Day After Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Paid Time Off

At the end of one year of employment, employees are entitled to 40 hours of paid time off (PTO). After five years of employment, employees qualify for 80 hours of PTO each year.

Insurance

Insurance plans are offered to our employees and their families through United Health Care. Full-time employees have the choice of two plans for medical coverage with optional dental and vision coverage. Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D) are also available to our employees.

401K

We sponsor a 401(k) retirement plan for our employees.

Tuition Reimbursement

Tuition reimbursement is available for college courses taken in the pursuit of a professional surveyor or professional engineer license, or other applicable courses on a case by case basis. To qualify, a staff member must receive a 3.0 or higher in the course and must remain employed with LIS for 24 months after completion.
